Reiselust: Manchester part 2.

Nach einem Flug mit easyJet, der sehr günstig und angenehm war, landen wir in Manchester.

Manchester Airport Rail Station.
Rote Backsteinhäuser dominieren das Bild der Stadt.
Ich dachte teilweise an meine Heimat Oberschlesien, als wir vom Flughafen zum Stadtzentrum für nur 2,1 Engl. Pounds ( in Euro mal ca.1, 3 ), mit dem Zug an den  Backsteinhäusern vorbei fuhren.
Schon nach 25 Minuten erreichten wir ganz gemütlich die Piccadilly Rail Station. Von dort kann man das Zentrum in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen.

Die Bitte: „Put down your phone and talk to me“, begrüßte uns auf dem Weg zum Hostel.

Cheap But Great Flying!

I had the privilege to travel to the United Kingdom and to visit Manchester.
Wow, this became an incredible surprise for me, as the city revealed itself with its treasures in the best weather conditions.
The Mancunians ( the citizens of Manchester ) are genius in the connection between the old and the new.
The cradle of the Industrial Revolution is in a metamorphosis.
Out of the run down city, which was abused by raw capitalism, a new awareness is rising up and love for esthetics.

Manchester vibrates with life and innovation.
History mixed with new technologies, creative architecture, restaurants and multicultural Human Capital impresses.
Love for life exudes on every corner, by day and by night, which is not as pleasant for the tired 40-something tourists …

In the days to come, I will introduce you to the Manchester I got to know.
But now you need to take off first… the boarding is complete, we are taking off…

Kochani!

Miałam przywilej wyrwać się z codzienności i polecieć sobie do Anglii, do Manchesteru, gdzie mnie jeszcze nie było!

Byłam pozytywnie zaskoczona tym miastem!

Mancunians, mieszkańcy Manchesteru, są geniuszami w łączeniu starego i nowego.

Kolebka rewolucji przemysłowej, przeżywa metamorfozę.

Z brudnego, zaniedbanego, przez kapitalizm zniszczonego miasta, rodzi się powoli pewne siebie, kochające estetykę, życiem tętniącym miastem

Manchester wibruje historią, ale i nową technologią, architekturą, lokalami i międzynarodowym kapitałem ludzkim.

Miłość dio życia spotyk nas na każdym kroku. W dzień i w noc… co dla nas, zmęczonych turystów, nie koniecznie jest miłe..

W przyszłych dniach, wtajemniczę Was w moje spotkania z Manchesterem.

Ale najpierw musicie za mną tam dolecieć…the boadring is complete..miłego lotu!

Liebe Leute.
Ich hatte das Privileg mich aus dem Alltag zu stehlen und nach Manchester zu fliegen.
Wow. War das eine Überraschung!
Ich war noch nie in England und so wusste ich nicht was mich da erwartet.
Auf jedem Fall sind die Mancunians ( Bewohner Manchesters ) genial, was die Verbindung von Alt und Neu angeht.
Die Wiege der industriellen Revolution erlebt eine Metamorphose.
Aus einer dreckigen, zerfallenen, vom Kapitalismus gebeutelter, erblüht langsam, aber sicher eine selbstbewusste, Ästhetik liebende, mit Leben pulsierende Stadt.
Sie brummt nur so mit Geschichte und neuen Technologien, Architektur, Restaurants und multikulturellem Menschenkapital.
Lebenslust ist spürbar an jeder Ecke. Tag und Nacht! Was für müde Touristen wie uns, nicht immer vom Vorteil ist …
In den folgenden Tagen werde ich Euch mehr in das „ vibrant with life “ Manchester einweihen.

Ihr müsst aber noch erst hinfliegen…also …the boarding is comlpete…los geht’s…
