The Christian Slogan For The New Year 2015.

Love...

Some protestant churches read in a little booklet with Bible verses for each day.

They also use a slogan, one specific verse from the Bibl,  as a guidance for a whole year.

This year the verse comes from the Rom.15.7 which sounds: Christ has accepted you. So accept one another in order to bring praise to God.

How could this look like in our everyday life?

Read in the 1.Cor. 13.4-8

It might help to understand how to live it out:

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not want what belongs to others. It does not brag. It is not proud.
5. It is not rude. It does not look out for its own interests. It does not easily become angry. It does not keep track of other people’s wrongs.
Love is not happy with evil. But it is full of joy when the truth is spoken.
It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It never gives up.
Love never fails.
If we read it every day, it might intrude our thoughts and change us…as we know, words have power…
Enjoy the journey through the new year 2015!
Love A.
