Laughing..Lachen..śmiech..
At the beginning of the week I want to invite you to look at a medley of video clips. I just thought, you might enjoy it before you face the challenges of the week.
In the book : „Every Day a Friday“ (http://amzn.to/NUEknA) by Joel Osteen , he wrote, that his mother when she was diagnosed with cancer, kept watching cartoons and found reasons to laugh a lot as her intuitive medicine. Today it´s known that it is a recommended therapy, because the laughing causes our body to produce hormones, which strengthen our immune system. Well- she overcame her sickness, even though she only had a few months to live. I think we should laugh today too, to become stronger! Besides that, laughing makes us simply feel happy…
P.S. Die deutsche Version des Buches heißt: „Einfach glücklich sein.“ und ist hier zum Reinlesen bereit: http://amzn.to/1dXaNhO

Great Movie and More: The Persuit of Happyness
Today in the morning I asked : why are you happy?
The nice song of
One lesson I have learned today from Christopher Gardener (http://www.chrisgardnermedia.com/) is, that to become really happy, I need to know what it is, that makes me happy. If the music makes me happy, it will do. If something bigger makes me happy, I definitely need to strive for that! This helps to fight against all odds. To dream big.
One scene in the movie shows Will Smith , playing Christopher Gardener, with his son, while he is playing basketball. The little boy loves to play basketball. His father states, that he shouldn´t play basketball anymore, because he will not make it to the top anyway…..The father noticed, that he broke something in his son´s happiness with his comment. After some moments they have the following conversation:
Father: Hey. Don’t ever let somebody tell you… You can’t do something. Not even me. All right?
Son: All right.
Father: You got a dream… You gotta protect it. People can’t do somethin‘ themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want somethin‘, go get it. Period.
With this quotation from this moving movie, I wish you courage to start to look for what makes you happy and to find ways to make your dreams come true.
